What other tracking technologies do we use?
Tracking by Mouseflow
Our Websites use technology provided by Mouseflow which allows us to understand how people are interacting with our Websites by tracking user activity, page content, click/touch, movement and scrolling activity. This includes use of cookies, beacons, tags and scripts. When you visit our website, the Mouseflow technology we use may collect the following information:
- Clicks, Mouse Movements/Hovers, Scrolling
- Browser
- Device (Desktop/Tablet/Phone)
- Language
- Operating System
- Screen Resolution
- Duration (Time on Site)
- Navigation (URLs)
- Page Content (HTML)
- ISP & Approx. ISP Location (City, Region, Country)
- Referrer URL
- Visitor Type (First Time/Returning)
- Custom Tags or Variables
if you wish to opt-out from tracking by Mouseflow, you can do so at https://mouseflow.com/opt-out/.
Email tracking
Some emails that we send you have no tracking in at all e.g. service emails with invoices attached. Other emails we send we put in tracking so that we can tell how much traffic those emails send to our Website, whether the user has opened and clicked on the email, which we can track to an individual level. We rarely use the latter information at a personal level, rather we use it to understand open and click rates on our emails to try and improve them. Sometimes we do use the personal information e.g. to re-email people who didn't click the first time. If you want to be sure that none of your email activity is tracked then you should opt out of Altro's emails which you can do via the link at the bottom of every email.
